Dialling Prefixes

Infinity can be setup to automatically prefix outgoing numbers with any prefix that may be required by a telephone system to allow external dialling. This prevents having to manually prefix the numbers in the system with the correct prefix.

To access the Dialling Prefix editor, select the following menu options:

The Dialling Prefix editor will now appear on an editing tab. The left-hand side of the screen is a list of all the currently defined Dialling Prefix records and the right-hand side of the screen contains the editing panel.

Actions

The following actions are available through the main toolbar:

Icon	Description
	Updates the dialling prefixes list
	Adds a new dialling prefix by providing its details.
	Changes the details of the selected dialling prefix.
	Removes the selected dialling prefix (with confirmation).
	Toggles the display of inactive dialling prefixes.
	Saves your changes into the system.

Details

The following details can be defined for a dialling prefix:

• Active (checkbox): When checked the dialling prefix is active
• Prefix: The number that should precede any outgoing numbers dialled by Infinity.
• Description: A descriptive name for this Dialling Prefix.
• Skills (tab): This section indicates which skills can access this Dialling Prefix. Click the icon of the section to update the skills list
