Linking

The Linking option allows each total to have its own Query containing its own set of display fields when drilling through to the Query screen. Linking also enables drilling though from one report to another.

To add a report, click the Select Reports button.

  1. Click the checkbox(es) next to the desired report(s) to be linked.
  2. Click the newly appeared 'Selected Reports' tab.
  3. Click the Add to Crosstab button

To remove a linked report, click the X icon next to it.

Use the Display Drill Through Options As (drop-down list) to select whether links will be displayed as Drop List, List or Buttons.

If the Drill Through to Records option is removed and no saved reports are selected, another 'Linking' tab will appear in the Totals tab.

Note: Linking cannot be used with in conjunction with Dynamic Views (tab is not available).
