Add an ODBC Connection

When using a project with the dialler for the first time you need to add a database connection on the dialler server. It will then be available from the drop-down list within the campaign manager interface.

1. Login to the Dialler server with administration rights

2. Go to Start> Control Panel> Administrative Tools> Data Sources (ODBC)

   

3. Select the 'System DSN' tab then click the Add button.

   

4. Select the relevant connection type for your data source (typically SQL Server) and Click the Finish button to start the wizard.

   

5. Enter Name, Description and Server, then click the Next button to continue.

   

6. Enter the authentication Login ID and Password.

   

7. Finally, click the Finish button to add this system DSN.

The newly added data source will now be visible in the ODBC drop-down list on the Campaign Manager.
