Analytics Viewer

Analytics Viewer is a restricted ‘view-only’ licence feature that provides users with a simplified interface to view, drill down, filter and print reports in an even less interactive and more simplistic fashion. Users with ‘view only’ licence (Viewers) can run and view reports that have been developed and published by standard users with certain restrictions imposed on how they can interact with the report. These restrictions include:

• Simple report name driven interface where access to a report is through clicking on a simple URL link as opposed to using the standard Analytics load report functionality.
• Restricted drill through functionality where drill through and filtering can be disabled on a report by report basis.
• Restricted export and printing capabilities.
• Inability to modify or create new reports.

A further restricted user type is the Static Viewer. Static Viewers cannot filter, drill through, or change any aspect of a report when in Viewer. This interface has been designed specifically for the viewing of pre-canned reports and dashboards by high-level business managers and non-technical staff who require access to a static set of standard reporting data.

Note: Full users can access published reports through the Analytics Viewer interface without any additional licences.
