Settings tab

The following fields are available in this tab:

  • Name: Campaign name (with project reference appended)
  • ODBC (drop-down list): Select the appropriate ODBC connection to the database and enter the relevant username and password.

Note: If this is the first time the project has been used with the dialler, you need to manually Add an ODBC Connection on the dialler server.

  • Dialler Type (drop-down list): Select one of the following to use for this campaign:
    • Inbound
    • Predictive (Outbound)
    • Preview (Outbound)
    • Progressive (Outbound)
  • Type (drop-down list): Select one of the following:
    • Standard
    • Master
    • Linked
  • Linked To (drop-down list): In case of a linked campaign, this is the master campaign it is linked to
  • Apportionment ratio for campaign: Enabled if the Master Campaign Setting (below) is set to Apportion based on ratio.
  • Enable Callbacks (checkbox): When checked, it enables the callbacks for the campaign.
  • Pool callbacks if agent unavailable (checkbox): If a callback is setup for a specific agent at a specific time, then at that time, if the agent is not logged in, this option governs the resulting behaviour. If the box is unchecked, then the call will be set to be retried with the same agent, according to the rules set up on the retry options page on the Recycle tab. If the box is checked, then the call will be set to be retried within a few minutes, by ANY agent who becomes available.
  • Pool callbacks on retry (checkbox): If a callback is setup for a specific agent at a specific time, then at that time, if the call is scheduled for a retry (e.g. no answer), this option governs the resulting behaviour. If the box is unchecked, then the call will be set to be retried with the same agent, according to the rules set up on the retry options page on the Recycle tab. If the box is checked, then the call will be set to be retried within a few minutes, by ANY agent that becomes available.
  • Record Calls (checkbox): Instruct the telephony server to record calls for this campaign.

Important: If this is selected for an Inbound (Dialler Type) campaign then the remainder of the configuration needs to be done using the Softdial Web Interface.

  • Master Campaign Setting: You can select one of the following:
    • Apportion based on list size: This feeds numbers in proportion to the size of the lists remaining.
    • Apportion based on ratio: Allows the user to choose the ratio of records to feed in. This option requires each linked campaign to have a ratio set up (in below setting). Ratios may be changed whilst the campaigns are running but changes are not retrospective. Using this method of apportionment means that some linked campaigns may complete earlier than others, in which case apportionment takes place using the ratios for the remaining running linked campaigns.
  • Apportionment ration for campaign (table frame): The current apportionment ratio for this campaign
  • Name: The name of any linked campaigns when using apportionment ratio
  • Ratio: The apportionment ratio for all linked campaigns to the master
