Softdial Web Interface

The softdial interface is a web based dialler tool for administering a number of functions and notably the Namespace Editor, which is necessary for administering dialler user accounts, Inbound queues, default Agent outcomes and dialler messaging.

To access the sofdial interface open a web browser and browse to the dialler server address http://x.x.x.x/softdial/start.php replacing the x.x.x.x with the servers IP Address.

The login screen requests for the following data:

• Tenant: A term used by the softdial for a grouping of settings and campaigns. You may have more than one tenant depending on your configuration.
• User/ Password: Your credentials
• Language: Select the preferred language

and click the Login button to enter the system's navigator.

The main navigator panel displays the following options:

• Campaign Manager: Being similar in function to the Console based Campaign Manager it includes some additional features i.e. Campaign scheduling, Time Zone management, Do Not Call list management and List Filtering. However it is standalone rather than integrated into the Infinity project.
• Namespace Editor: Used to administer dialler users accounts, queues, default outcomes and dialler announcement messaging and is the main module used in conjunction with the Infinity campaign manager.
• Reporter: It is only enabled if you have the web based reporter function.
• Recording Monitor: Used for retrieving call recordings if you have this module.
• Client Loader: Used for installing the relevant softdial software modules.
