Logging In
To gain access to the Infinity system, each user must log-in with an account previously defined by a Super Administrator.
Note: If the users account has been mapped to their NT account and the configuration file is set to "LDAPCheck=Y", they will be automatically logged-in, otherwise they will need to enter their username and password to continue. |
User accounts
Your installation will come with a Super Administrator account already configured. Logging-in with this account will allow you to create accounts for your users.
- To find out what your Super Administrator account details are, please see your Infinity contact
- To find out how to create a new user account, please see Manage Users
The log-in screen
Select the Configuration File you are using in the drop-down list, provide your Username and Password and then click the Sign in button to log in.
Click the paintbrush icon on the top right to change the console theme between dark and light (when logged in you can change the theme through the Environment Settings and Information).
The text on this screen (and all subsequent screens) may appear in your local language if that language was specified in the Configuration File and the corresponding language file is present too.
If the login information supplied is not able to be verified against an existing user account, a red message box will appear at the bottom of the window informing you. In this case, please check that the details entered are correct and remember that the username and the password might be case-sensitive.
Example: If the username on John Smith's account is setup as 'JSMITH' (all uppercase), entering 'jsmith' or 'JSmith' will not work and the user will have to enter 'JSMITH' to gain access. The same goes for passwords too. |

If a user account has been set to expire on a certain date (and that date has been reached) or a Super Administrator has specified that the user should change their password upon their next login, then the user will be taken to a screen for changing his password.
