Settings

Apart from the Global Settings affecting the entire system, there are a number of settings used for customising the Infinity environment.

To access the Environment Settings and Information click the following icon on the vertical bar on the left of the Console Interface:

The following options are available:

This setting affects how the Project submenu is grouped:

  • no grouping: The projects will simply be presented as an alphabetically-ordered list
  • by client: The projects will be grouped by client
  • by project group: The projects will be grouped by project group

You can influence the font size of the text presented in the menus by selecting small, medium or large.

Select the colour of the desktop between Dark and Light

The Show inactive checkbox allows you to control whether or not any list items that are marked as inactive are shown in the menu system.

You can determine the layout of the display by selecting one of the following options:

  • Single Screen: The desktop is displayed in a full application window

  • Split Screen: The console manager occupies half of the screen allowing for an integrated browser to be run in the other half.

  • Floating: A more flexible display is adopted with the only fixed on-screen element being the (now) horizontal Menu bar. The console manager is detachable and it can co-exist with other application(s) windows.

    Tip: The default size of the floating console manager window is defined by the FLOATING_DEFAULTHEIGHT and FLOATING_DEFAULTWIDTH global system settings.
