Main Display

This is the main section of the Console Interface's home screen where all the interaction with Infinity options takes place. Selecting any option on the menu bar shows the relevant content in this section.

Tabs

The contents of the main display are grouped in tabs for different tasks and projects. Tabs are where all editing of Infinity options takes place. Each item that you edit appears in its own tab allowing you to switch freely between tasks – even across different projects.

Whilst you are at the home screen, you can always see how many tabs you have open (if any) by looking at the Tab icon . The icon is comprised of a tabbed folder with a number in it that tells you how many tabs are open. If there is no number, there are no tabs currently open.

Whilst the tab screen is visible, the topmost option on the left will be the home icon . Clicking this icon navigates you to the home screen.

Tabs Layout

The selected menu options are arranged on a vertical tab panel with a hamburger button on the top. Clicking a tab show its content to the main window on the right.

The hamburger button acts as a toggle allowing you to collapse or expand the tab panel according to your screen space requirements. The default state of the tab panel is collapsed for the agents and expanded for all other users.

You can also manually resize the width of the panel between certain limits using the mouse.

Tip: The current size of the tab panel is auto-stored before you log off and retained onto your next login.

Clicking the rectangle icon that appears to the right of a tab's name when you hover over it, closes the tab.

Tiles

The home screen hosts Infinity Tiles that allow system administrators to setup any number of “tiles” to be displayed to the other users of Infinity. For contact-centre agents, this means that when they first log-in or when they have no other tasks in progress (such as a call or email). For other users, the tiles are displayed when they first log-in and when they either have no tabs open or they choose to toggle to the Home screen by clicking the Home icon.

There are several different types of file available that can display a wide range of content such as stats, targets, motivational messages, mission statements, simple questions and polls (that collect the user responses) and others. Interacting with the tiles is as simple as either clicking on them or answering a question in the case of Accept or Poll tile types.

If you have the sufficient Permissions you can create new tiles and edit existing ones.
