Permissions
You can define which permissions are available to each Access Level on this screen. For example, Agents could be given access to the KnowledgeBase module, if required.
Tip: If you don’t want to extend the entire Access Level and would rather give individual users extra permissions instead through the Manage Users control module. |
To access the permissions, select the following menu options:
The screen appears in a new tab:
Configuration
A list with the permission groups is shown on the left hand side. Select any of them displays the individual Permissions for the chosen Permission Group on the top-right.
Next to each permission's description there is a checkbox for each individual Access Level. The toolbar on the right panel allows you to add a new permission or modify an existing one.

Important: If you don't use the category prefix before the code you will get an error.

Modify permission. Check the boxes of Access Levels that wish this permission to be a part of or uncheck the ones you want the permission to be removed from. |

The following tabs are available at the bottom:
- 'Menu Items' tab: It displays the menu hierarchy for the selected permissions group.
- 'Users' tab: It displays the list of users who have the permissions assigned to them directly through the Manage Users screen rather than via an access level or role.
